| 2004 GLAHA Show: the Great Lakes Arabian Horse Association wants everyone to remark their calendars to include the GLAHA show. It is now scheduled for July 17 and 18th at the Dickinson County Fairgrounds in Norway, MI. For added incentive this year, we joined forces with FedEx and are offering a $500 purse in our Arabian Freestyle Liberty Class. The class is open to Purebred Arabinas Only and horses are to be shown without tack or equipment. A two-minute time limit will allow the Arabian to "Strutt his Stuff". Entry fee will be $25.00 with entries limited to the first 20 entries received. The total prize money will consist of $500.00 sponsored by FedEx Corporation. To be divided as 70% to Grand Champion and 30% to Reserve Champions. The class will be held on Saturday evening following our dinner buffet in center ring. All of our regular exhibitors and the new ones who want to join in the fun are encouraged to participate or just watch the beauty of the Arabian. Check our website at www.glaha.com for all the news. | The Great Lakes Arabian Horse Association was founded in 1980 to serve a small but very friendly group of Arabian horse lovers in northeastern Wisconsin and the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. The club focuses on promoting the Arabian horse and providing friendship among Arabian horse owners. One of the main ways we do this is with a high quality but low stress two-day Class A show early in August where we often offer exhibitor perks such as a cookout and music Saturday evenings or a free pancake breakfast during the show. In addition, members enjoy their horses, their friendships, and the beautiful scenery of the area throughout the year. |
