[formerly the International Arabian Horse Association (IAHA) and the Arabian Horse Registry of America (AHRA)]

   This is the parent organization of all AHA affiliated Arabian clubs in the United States and Canada.  The AHA is comprised of eighteen regions--sixteen in the US and two in Canada--and each region contains several member clubs through which members join IAHA. 

   The AHA administers a variety of member benefit programs (awards, futurities, youth, sweepstakes, and frequent rider programs to name a few); designs and implements promotional efforts; registers and transfers purebred Arabian horses, Half-Arabian horses, and Anglo-Arabian horses; and administers policies regarding qualifications for regional and national championship shows, and competitive and endurance rides.  AHA's operation relies on a wide variety of committees, commissions, and boards in which members throughout the regions determine and implement AHA programs and policies.

This distance riding organization sanctions endurance and competitive rides throughout the Midwest.  The site includes a handy calendar of rides.

    This council is the voice of the equine industry in Wisconsin.  It sponsors the Midwest Horse Fair.
